Wendy Crockett has been a passionate motorcyclist for nearly 30 years. She is a multiple-factory certified powersports technician, a competitive endurance rider, on-and off-road coach, motorcycle accident scene/trauma first aid instructor, and tour guide.
She has ridden more than a million miles on adventures all around the world including 49 US states, most Mexican states, and every province of Canada accessible by road. She has ridden far north beyond the Arctic Circle, traversed the untamed Australian outback, ventured deep into the jungles of South America and across dizzying Himalayan passes.
In 2019 Wendy became the first woman to win the 11-day, 11,000-mile Iron Butt Rally. In 2022 she and her riding partner, Ian McPhee, succeeded in setting a new Guinness World Record for the Longest Continuous Journey in a Single Country by a Team; their book “Pushing Miles” documents the unbelievable struggles they faced in their quest for the record books.
She loves all makes, models, and styles of bikes and has documented Iron Butt rides on everything from a 150cc Chinese motorcycle to a Suzuki Bandit 1200 sidecar rig. But she’s not just about big mile days; as a motorcycle tour guide she likes to slow down and enjoy all of the amazing sights and hidden gems this world has to offer.
Her riding exploits and accomplishments have been covered in a number of magazines, podcasts, and documentary films. Wendy’s love of motorcycling is infectious, and she loves sharing her passion with riders and aspiring riders all over the world.
Liza Miller is a prominent Santa Cruz-based motorcyclist, self-taught mechanic, and community leader known for founding the Re-Cycle Garage community co-op. In recognition of this, she was awarded the Friend of the AMA award in 2019.
She is the host and producer of the Motorcycles & Misfits Podcast, the top moto-culture podcast in the world, with over 600 episodes and 13 years running.
She is a passionate advocate for women in motorcycling, having been part of the team on the original Women Riders World Relay, and is currently co-CEO of the WRWR App.
Liza has ridden in many countries around the world, but is best known for organizing and leading the women-only motorcycle tours through the northern mountain regions of Pakistan called Chickistan, which was featured on the cover of the AMA Magazine in March, 2023.
Background: She has a background in sound engineering and has written and produced films like The Sobbing Scooterist and Motosexual . She was also one of the founders of the Rev Sisters Motorcycle Film Festivals.
She has many motorcycles, and enjoys riding all styles anywhere anytime. You can find her at motorcycle rallies and events, speaking, teaching, interviewing and emceeing, and is equally passionate about all things two wheeled.
